About the UGRAD Global Fellowship for Cultural Exchange
The Global Academic Exchange Program (also known as the UGRAD Global Program) offers one-semester scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students from around the world for full-time non-degree study as well as community service, a professional development and cultural enrichment. He directs global education around the world on behalf of the Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State.
Since 2008, the program has provided the opportunity to participate in approximately 2,500 international students who leave the United States with the tools to become leaders in their fields and communities. Global UGRAD graduates earn Fulbright Graduate Scholarships and gain access to prestigious international education and careers, and work in companies and government in their home countries.

- The applicant must be over 18 years old.
- A citizen of one of the countries eligible to participate in the UGRAD Global Program and a current resident of that country.
- Undergraduate student at an accredited and well-established university, public or private, who has at least one semester remaining in their university after completing the Global UGRAD program.
- He completed his secondary education in his home country.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (English training is available for some finalists).
- The possibility of starting studies in the United States in August 2022 or January 2023 (participation in the program cannot be postponed to a later date).
- Eligible for the U.S. exchange student visa (J-1) required for the program.
- Authorized to participate in the program by a physician.
- Commitment to return to the country of origin after completing the program.

- A copy of your passport or government issued ID.
- Transcripts (Official documents must be in English and show the student’s academic performance in previous years at the university. First-year university students must attach a copy of their transcripts and a letter proving the ‘registration of their current university).

- You will be asked to write a personal essay explaining the reasons for your scholarship application and what makes you better than others.

- 2- Each person’s way of driving is different. How would you describe your personal leadership style? What values do you consider most important when leading others? How do you inspire and influence others to support your vision?
